5Q’s with Veronica Del Rosa

For today’s 5Q’s, I’ll be speaking with Paranormal Romance author and self-professed geek Veronica Del Rosa. Veronica writes the sexy, action-packed Enforcers and Coterie series–filled to the brim with magic, hot heroes, and kick butt heroines you would not want to mess with. I got to know Veronica through Goodreads, and I’m so glad I did. Now… Time for my 5Q’s!

Why did you start writing? I was complaining to my husband about a crappy book I was reading and he kindly told me to do better then. Okay, it wasn’t kind. It was pretty much a put up or shut up statement. *laughs* So I started writing and got hooked.

What’s your favorite thing about being an author? The ability to create worlds and transport other people to them. Having someone else rave to me about what happened in one of my books and talk about the characters as if they were real is an amazing feeling.

Are you reading anything at the moment? Does my own work count for editing purposes? No? I’m between books right now, although I’m planning on reading Shelly Laurenston’s new book, The Unleashing. I adore her psycho women.

What can readers expect from your books? Romance, action, paranormal, strong women, delicious alpha men and a little bit of snark. I’m a snarky person and some of my characters have taken up the habit.

Anything new you’d like to share? I’ve sent my third book to my editor and I’m hoping for a June release. I’m re-releasing my first book next week once I finish the revisions. And I’ve got an awesome Harley Quinn plushie toy for my desk at work. Seriously, it’s just so cute and she has a mallet!

Harley Quinn–sexy but dangerous. A bit like your characters, eh? ; ) Thank you so much for your time, and I’m looking forward to reading Dawn’s Keeper once it’s released!
